Launching a new brand is not the same as promoting an existing brand. With an existing brand, consumers already have an impression of what the brand stands for and are willing to accept advertising messages that reinforce that perception. New brands, however, don’t yet have a place in the customer’s mind, and customer’s don’t believe the advertising unless it agrees with what they already know. News releases create a sense of third party endorsement.
Rather than creating an expensive ad campaign for a new brand, we work with clients to craft a series of news stories announcing company growth, product introductions, client interaction, etc. News releases are one part of building awareness through trusted third party sources.
